We have stayed in Zante for approximately 13 years and most of them at this Hotel. You could not get a better situated hotel. You literally wake up and two or three steps and you are by the pool and then the sea.

The staff was friendly, but not all speak English. The rooms we had were clean and quite large, but very basic. Sometimes it can get a bit noisy because of the neighbours or the live music that's being played in the yard. We had breakfast included: the buffet had quite a lot of food to choose from

we booked this hotel through lastminute.com and were unsure what to expect but we were very happy with it. The hotel is right next to the sandy beach and has a lovely very well maintained pool and outside area.

Astir Beach complex is located on the sandy beach of Laganas, one of the biggest beaches in Greece, 9 kilometers long, with fine clean sand, with shallow, warm and serene waters due to its location in the south of the island. These are the reasons why the beach of Laganas is one of the favorite beaches of visitors, children as well as the caretta-caretta sea turtle.
Laganas area has been developed for tourists, and is one of the most cosmopolitan areas of the island offering exceptional entertainment. It has a large variety of stores, traditional taverns, restaurants, cafeterias and bars, with a lively night life.
Moreover, our Hotel is located at a very small distance from many traditional villages (Kalamaki, Pantokratoras, Lithakia, Keri) where you can admire the oldest architecture of the island and taste many traditional products.
Astir Beach is located 800 meters from the center of Laganas, so you can have a comfortable and restful stay, away from the noise, but close enough to be able to get there on foot.
